Holidays

During Polish national holidays most of private and government institutions are closed. They include banks, post offices, government buildings. Additionally, local public transportation is run on holiday time. Most of tourist attractions such as castles, resorts, parks, museums are open, but its highly recommended to call ahead.

  • 3 May – Constitution Day
  • 9th Thursday after Easter - Corpus Christi
  • 15 August - Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
  • 1 November - All Saint’s Day
  • 11 November - Independence Day
  • 25/26 December - First Day of Christmas

Holidays from School

Student’s typical summer break runs from July until September. Christmas break runs from the 23 of December until the 3rd of January. Students also have one week off in March (as chosen by their school).
